Defining roles.
Who is the customer?
In the KidsCampLive service model, the parent(s) or guardian is the Customer and we refer to them as our Families. That means their children, the campers, are our biggest influencers.
Independent contractors and employees
Just as families are critical to our business, so are the Camp counselors. They represent a network of skilled independent contractors--these are the people that make the business work on a day-to-day basis.
They are paid on a per-session basis (flat rate) plus bonuses when specific milestones are met (examples: exceeding 45 sessions in a calendar month, obtaining teacher certification, completing bachelor or graduate degree in one of our core subject areas).
Employees
Core to the ongoing operation of KidsCampLive are our employees. A director, assistant director, administrative and business personnel (business management, marketing, IT, and possibly curriculum development). These professionals serve our Families and support the Camp counselors. We anticipate that for the foreseeable future, our team of employees will be less than 5 or 10.
Partners, guest speakers, sponsors
Partnerships will enrich our platform and bring unique skills, expertise, and members of our communities to KidsCampLive. Guest speakers and other collaborative partners bring specialized content to our programs by leading a camp session or perhaps a park ranger giving us a virtual tour. Sponsors provide financial support by covering the cost of a camp session or series (listed with contact links in any visuals, ads, announcements, correspondence with parents, and any other marketing materials).

Beyond the pandemic.
KidsCampLive is prepared for life (a better life) after COVID-19. We will be there to support parents and kids during summer months, school vacations, and yes, we'll be ready for the next pandemic.
Future programs may help supplement families who are homeschooling, have children who may need additional tutoring, due to an illness and are unable to attend school.
And guess what? We anticipate there may be a KidsCampLive for adults! Admit it--hasn't there been a time that you've asked: Why isn't there a camp like this for adults?
